The Modellers was established in 1995 as a high-end modelling and advanced quantitative design, analysis, and programming group. Since our inception, we have conducted more than 800 research studies for businesses across diverse industries, including technology, banking, food/beverage and snack, entertainment, travel, government, fast food, and pharmaceutical. Many of these studies have been produced for leading Fortune 100 and 500 companies.

The Modellers was founded by a unique group of Ph.D.s who had all studied under one of the “fathers” of Discrete Choice Modeling, and who is currently the Director of the Center for the Study of Choice. We are experienced in a wide variety of marketing research methodologies and are recognized as world leaders in the theoretical and practical applications of Discrete Choice Models and Data Fusion (i.e., segmentation/database augmentation and scoring). The majority of our staff hold advanced degrees in marketing science, econometrics and/or statistics.

Since the time of our founding over 10 years ago, we have had a desire to bring cutting-edge methodologies to bear on making important real-world research more accurate. The Modellers are dedicated to bridging the gap between academic advances and practical applications to apply the latest, cutting-edge methodologies and procedures to our clients’ benefit. We work with our Advisory Board of renowned academics and prominent market research industry professionals to make sure we are not only on the cutting-edge of research method application, but also heavily involved in devising, developing, and testing new methodologies that solve important problems and give our clients new, better, and deeper insights into their business challenges.

Thus, we can combine in-depth theoretical understanding of econometrics, statistics, market research and data mining techniques with a perspective of practical business/management application to provide research with applicable and usable meaning. We build our research results and models into sophisticated but easy-to-use simulators—IDTs that can include complex optimization and unique decision-making intelligence to help clients author the future instead of merely reporting on the past.
